{"id":7129,"date":"2026-09-20T13:12:43","date_gmt":"2026-09-20T13:12:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thedhakajournal.com\/?p=7129"},"modified":"2026-09-20T13:12:46","modified_gmt":"2026-09-20T13:12:46","slug":"india-seeks-stronger-trade-ties-with-bangladesh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thedhakajournal.com\/?p=7129","title":{"rendered":"India seeks stronger trade ties with Bangladesh"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indian deputy high commissioner meets FBCCI administrator<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Indian deputy high commissioner has called for stronger trade and investment ties between Bangladesh and India, urging both countries to remove tariff and non-tariff barriers and build closer links between businesses.Pawan Badhe made the call during a courtesy meeting with Md Fazlul Hoque, administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), at the federation\u2019s Gulshan office in Dhaka today.Pawan proposed forming a business-to-business task force to strengthen cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries.He said his office was in regular contact with the governments of Bangladesh and India to speed up the formation of the task force.
