{"id":7157,"date":"2026-09-25T15:34:50","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T15:34:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thedhakajournal.com\/?p=7157"},"modified":"2026-09-25T15:34:52","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T15:34:52","slug":"bangladesh-railway-condemns-fabricated-audio-involving-director-general","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thedhakajournal.com\/?p=7157","title":{"rendered":"Bangladesh Railway Condemns \u2018Fabricated\u2019 Audio Involving Director General"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bangladesh Railway has strongly protested the circulation of an alleged audio recording on social media that purportedly features a conversation involving its Director General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a protest statement issued on Thursday (September 25), Bangladesh Railway said it had noticed the circulation of an audio recording on social media claiming to be a mobile phone conversation involving the Director General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The railway authorities said the Director General had no involvement in the conversation and described the audio as \u201cfalse, baseless and fabricated with the help of technology.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the statement, an vested interest group is deliberately spreading such misinformation with the aim of damaging the image of Bangladesh Railway and tarnishing the reputation and personal dignity of the Director General, who has had a long career in public service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement, however, did not provide details about how the audio was allegedly fabricated or whether any specific technical examination or investigation had been conducted to verify its authenticity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bangladesh Railway urged social media users and others to verify information before sharing or publishing such content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also requested those concerned to refrain from spreading unverified and false information in the future, warning that legal action would be taken against individuals involved if such activities continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bangladesh Railway reiterated its strong condemnation and protest against what it described as a \u201cfalse and fabricated\u201d audio recording involving its Director General.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bangladesh Railway has strongly protested the circulation of an alleged audio recording on social media that purportedly features a conversation involving its Director General.
