A new wave of expectations is building among aspiring leaders ahead of the formation of the next committee of Jubo Dal’s Dhaka Metropolitan North unit, the youth wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Particular attention is being given to a group of former Chhatra Dal leaders who have remained active in political movements and street protests for years and have gained organizational experience at different levels. Among those drawing attention are Robiul Alam Shiblu, Billal Hossain, Nazmul Ahsan Sohel, Sazzadul Hanif, Safiul Alam Prince, Advocate Abdullah Al Mamun and Hachan Chowdhury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Robiul Alam Shiblu
Robiul Alam Shiblu is a former organizing secretary of Tejgaon College Chhatra Dal and a former joint organizing secretary of the central Chhatra Dal under the Rajib-Akram committee. He has experience in leadership, progressing from grassroots student politics to the central level. Through his longstanding political involvement, organizational activities and engagement with party workers, he is aspiring to secure a significant leadership position in Jubo Dal’s Dhaka Metropolitan North unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Billal Hossain
Billal Hossain is a former acting president of Tejgaon College Chhatra Dal, a former joint general secretary of the central Chhatra Dal and the second member of the recently concluded convening committee of Dhaka Metropolitan North Jubo Dal. His leadership experience in both Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal has placed him among the notable contenders for an important position in the upcoming committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Safiul Alam Prince
Safiul Alam Prince is a former joint convener of Government Bangla College Chhatra Dal and a former joint secretary of the central Chhatra Dal. He has experience carrying out organizational responsibilities, from college-based student politics to the central level. He, too, is seeking an opportunity to take on a leadership role in the next Jubo Dal committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Advocate Abdullah Al Mamun
Advocate Abdullah Al Mamun is a former law affairs secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North Chhatra Dal and a former joint law affairs secretary of the central Chhatra Dal. His experience in legal and organizational responsibilities alongside student politics has given him a distinct profile among former student leaders. He is keen to play a more significant role in the upcoming Jubo Dal committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hachan Chowdhury
Hachan Chowdhury is a former student leader of Government Titumir College and a former vice-president of the central Chhatra Dal. Having advanced from grassroots student politics to central leadership, he is also seeking an important responsibility in the next committee of Dhaka Metropolitan North Jubo Dal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leadership Aspirations Ahead of the New Committee
Each of the seven former student leaders has an individual political profile and leadership experience. Having served at different levels of Chhatra Dal, they now aspire to play more prominent roles in the Dhaka Metropolitan North unit of Jubo Dal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the allocation of positions in the upcoming committee will ultimately depend on decisions by the party’s central leadership and its assessment of the candidates’ organizational contributions and leadership capabilities.The formation of the next committee is expected to clarify which aspiring leaders will secure key positions, as political experience, activism on the streets and organizational skills remain important considerations in the leadership selection process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For now, these seven former Chhatra Dal organizers remain among the names drawing attention as expectations grow over the future leadership of Dhaka Metropolitan North Jubo Dal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
