Dhaka, June 24: Leaders of Zia Parishad have clarified that no committee of Zia Parishad at Janata Bank PLC has been officially approved yet, urging all concerned members and supporters not to be misled by any contrary claims.

The leaders emphasized that any information suggesting the existence of an approved committee is inaccurate and called on party activists and well-wishers to remain cautious regarding such misinformation.

Meanwhile, the convening committee of Zia Parishad, Janata Bank PLC, has announced a food distribution program for underprivileged people to mark the 45th martyrdom anniversary of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. The event is scheduled to be held after Friday prayers in front of Mohammadpur Town Hall Mosque in the capital.

According to the organizers, the program will be attended by Vice Chairmen of the central committee, Professor Shafiqul Islam and Professor Delwar Hossain, as chief and special guests.

Other central leaders expected to attend include Joint Secretary Generals Khandaker Shafiqul Hasan Ratan, Md. Gias Uddin, Md. Nur Nabi, Md. Shahiduzzaman, and Engineer Sharifuzzaman. Also expected to be present is Md. Robiul Islam, along with leaders and activists from various levels of the organization.

Md. Monsur Rahman, Member Secretary of the convening committee, has called upon all leaders, activists, and well-wishers to participate in the program and make it a success.
