Special Correspondent: A new brand shop of the world-renowned mobile accessories and gaming brand oraimo has been officially inaugurated at Tarek Telecom in the Samity Bhaban, Mirpur-1, Dhaka. The grand opening took place on October 3, 2026, featuring day-long cultural performances and an online gaming competition.

During the ceremony, cash coupons ranging from BDT 10,000 up to a maximum of BDT 180,000 were presented to the winners of the gaming competition. Representatives from Oraimo International China, alongside Oraimo Bangladesh Country Manager Tanvir Hossain Mazumder, local business leaders, and media personnel, were present at the event.

Speaking at the function, Tanvir Hossain Mazumder, Country Manager of Oraimo Bangladesh, said, “Our primary target audience is the youth aged 16 to 30. Due to limited playgrounds and recreational facilities, a significant portion of today’s youth has become drawn toward online gaming. Oraimo is working to provide these young people with an international-standard experience and create opportunities for healthy entertainment.”

He further noted that to create pathways for international competition in the esports sector, Oraimo has emerged as a smart accessories brand in collaboration with the popular online game Free Fire. With gaming gaining global recognition as a formal sport, Bangladeshi youth are already participating in global tournaments held in countries like Malaysia and Thailand. He expressed optimism that through this platform, the country’s youth can elevate their skills to an international level and contribute to the national economy by earning foreign currency.

Following the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, the organizers stated that the launch of this brand shop will allow local customers to easily access Oraimo’s high-quality products and services.
