The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Traffic Division has filed 1,670 cases against traffic violators in various areas of the capital. 

On Monday, (February 10) DMP’s Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) of the Media and Public Relations Department, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed this information. 

He mentioned that the cases were filed during an operation carried out by the DMP Traffic Division on Sunday, February 11. Additionally, 167 vehicles were dumped, and 42 vehicles were towed during the operation. The DMP Traffic Division will continue its efforts to maintain traffic discipline in the Dhaka Metropolitan area.
