BNP has filed a complaint with the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) against prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 500 others over the death of 848 individuals during the July uprising.

Mohammad Salauddin Khan, coordinator of BNP’s litigation data collection cell, lodged the complaint on Thursday (February 13) morning.

Besides Hasina, former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former law minister Anisul Huq, former state minister for information Mohammad Ali Arafat and senior police officers were named in the complaint.
