The Central Chhatra Dal has announced a partial committee to form a full committee of the Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (PUST). In this, Jahidul Islam Ratul has been declared the president and Sohel Rana Joni as the general secretary.

This information was given in a press release signed by Chhatra Dal Central Parliament President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir on Friday (March 14).

It has been ordered to form a full committee within the next 30 days and submit it to the central office.

Jahidul Islam Ratul, who has been appointed as the president, is a student of the Faculty of Business Administration in the 2011-12 session, and General Secretary Sohel Rana Joni is a student of the Faculty of Fisheries in the 2017-18 session.

In this regard, Jahidul Islam Ratul, who has been appointed as the president, said, “I am grateful to the central leaders because they have given me the responsibility. I will try to play a role in the constructive work of the university along with the general students.”

Sohel Rana Johnny, who was given the responsibility of general secretary, said, “I express my gratitude to Rakibul Islam Rakib, president of the central parliament of the student party, and Shakir Ahmed, vice-president. I will always try to stand by the students through the politics of nationalist ideology and will work together with everyone to create a healthy political environment on campus, God willing.”
