Two student representatives of the Ministry of Railways, Mehedi Hasan and Rezaul Karim, have demanded a bribe from Dhaka Railway Security Force Commandant Mohammad Shafiqul Islam.
A call record of the conversation between the three of them has been preserved. From the record, it is understood that these two student representatives are trying to get Shahidullah Shahid, the Commandant of the Railway Security Force in Chittagong, to bring him to Dhaka for 10 lakh taka. However, they will not do this if the Commandant of the Railway Security Force, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, who is currently working in Dhaka, gives them the two lakh taka they demanded.
It is understood from the call record that this issue has been discussed between the three of them before.
In the record, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam is heard talking to student representative Mehedi Hasan, I told you that day in front of you to withdraw the money that is deposited from the court. If that is not the case, I will not be able to pay 2 lakh taka, I have no source of income.
Mehedi says, meanwhile, those in power are making money, they don’t understand pressure.
Mr. Islam says, I’m saying that since Shahidullah Shahid is saying, take one million taka from him. There’s no problem with betraying this traitor. If you do, you’ll do the job. If you don’t, you won’t. He just left…. Now if he thinks he has to return within 6 months.
Student representative Mehedi says, no. There’s no problem with what Nirjon (Rezaul Karim’s nickname) brother said to you, you just have to give it. So when is that happening? Tomorrow?

When the advisor went to Chittagong, Commandant Shahidullah Shahid offered us 10 lakh taka to come to Dhaka. If you give 5 lakh taka, I will keep you in Dhaka. Or I will bring Shahidullah.
I first agreed to keep the evidence of this incident, I said 1 lakh taka and later said 2 lakh taka. I prolonged the communication to prove the information. And I made this record myself. And I gave it to the official WhatsApp group. Today I will meet the DG and take legal action.
