Jagannath University Chhatra Dal Convening Committee member Abu Bakar Khan led a leaflet distribution program in Bahadur Shah (Victoria) Park area of Old Dhaka to implement the 31-point ‘Outline for Repairing the State Structure’ announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
In the program, the leaders and activists highlighted the main points of the 31-point plan among the public and conducted an awareness campaign on its usefulness and implementation.
A student of Government Poet Nazrul College (who did not want to be named) said, – I have read the 31-point plan before. Thank you for giving it to me. We want our quality of life to improve. However, not only planning, but also implementation is important.
A guardian commented, – We need to reach out to more people. I hope we will be able to vote soon.
Abu Bakar Khan said, – Today’s leaflet distribution is aimed at promoting the thoughts and plans of the country’s national hero Tarique Rahman, who is the embodiment of national reform. We believe that this will further increase people’s trust and support for BNP.
Present at the event were Mahadi-ul-Morshed, a researcher involved in the research on the 31 points, the Center for Research in Multidisciplinary (CRM), leaders and activists of Jagannath University Chhatra Dal, and new students of the university.
