Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher today said although all parties are united on the issue of reforms, BNP has suddenly changed its position.

He made the remark while addressing a gathering of polling centre directors of Chauddagram upazila, held at the auditorium of Comilla Central Medical College.

Taher said, “BNP is now rejecting everything — whether it’s RPO, reforms, or the referendum. If the government loses its neutrality, people will lose faith in it.”

He further said, “If the government resorts to trickery regarding the national election or the referendum, the public will take to the streets once again.”
