Grameenphone Limited, the country’s leading telecommunications service provider, has signed an important agreement with renowned industrial conglomerate Western Group. The signing ceremony was held recently at the headquarters of Western Group, with senior officials from both organizations in attendance.
Representing Grameenphone Limited at the event were Mr. Asif Naimur Rashid, Chief Business Officer; Mr. M. Shawon Azad, Director; along with other senior officials of the company. On behalf of Western Group, the ceremony was attended by Mr. Bashir Ahmed, Managing Director; Md. Sarwar Zaman Dhali, Deputy Managing Director; and Mr. Nahfid Ahmed Ananya, Managing Director of Leeds Corporation Limited and Director of Western Group.Senior executives from various sister concerns of Western Group, including Tiger Cement and Leeds Corporation Limited, were also present at the event.
The agreement was formally signed by Mr. Asif Naimur Rashid on behalf of Grameenphone Limited and Mr. Nahfid Ahmed Ananya on behalf of Western Group.
Through this agreement, Grameenphone and Western Group expressed optimism about working together in close collaboration to implement more effective, innovative, and sustainable business initiatives in the future. At the conclusion of the ceremony, officials from both organizations described the partnership as a significant milestone for the growth and development of the two institutions.
