Prominent businessman and entrepreneur Md. Liaqat Ali Khan Mukul has been elected as the Chairman of Asian Television.

The decision was made unanimously at a meeting of the Board of Directors of Asian Television, held on January 26 at the channel’s corporate office.

Md. Liaqat Ali Khan Mukul is currently the Chairman of Rupayan Group, one of the country’s leading real estate and business conglomerates. In addition, he serves as the Chairman of the daily newspaper Desh Rupantor and Desh Radio. He is also an elected Director of the Association of Television Channel Owners (ATCO).Industry insiders believe that his long-standing experience in business, media, and the industrial sector will play a significant role in strengthening the leadership and future direction of Asian Television.

With his appointment, Asian Television is expected to benefit from strategic guidance and renewed momentum in the competitive broadcast media landscape.
