Democratic Awakened Bangladesh Launches Campaign in Support of Tarique Rahman in Dhaka-17

Ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, the social organization Democratic Awakened Bangladesh carried out extensive door-to-door outreach and campaign activities in Dhaka-17 to ensure the victory of BNP-nominated candidate and BNP Chairperson Mr. Tarique Rahman.

The campaign was conducted across Shahjahanpur, Bashtola, and the Gulshan Development Zone of the capital. The program was led by the President of Democratic Awakened Bangladesh, Md. Jahirul Islam Kalim. During the drive, leaders and activists interacted directly with voters in different streets, marketplaces, and residential areas, exchanging views and listening to public concerns.While campaigning, the activists highlighted the messages of state reform and the restoration of democracy put forward by BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. They also called for ensuring a free, fair, and neutral election environment.

The campaign generated visible enthusiasm among local voters. Many residents expressed hope for political change under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, viewing it as a way to resolve the country’s ongoing political challenges.

Speaking at the event, Md. Jahirul Islam Kalim said, “People are now united to restore democracy and voting rights in the country. The people of Dhaka-17 are ready to deliver their verdict in favor of Tarique Rahman.”

Leaders and activists from various levels of Democratic Awakened Bangladesh were present at the program. The organization also announced that similar outreach and campaign activities would continue in the coming days.

Among those present were Ashraful Alam Hannan, Md. Mostafa, Syed Mozammel Hossain Shahin, Raju Ahmed Shah, Syed Mohammad Belal Hossain, Ashraful Kabir Bacchu, Alamgir Hossain Liton, Siuli Akter, Mehdi Hasan, Mahmudul Hasan, Shirin Akter, Subrata Pal, S.K. Sanjoy, Mostafizur Rahman Sagar, Ali Azgar Shawon, Md. Mahabub Alam, Md. Alauddin, Komor Uddin, Rojina Begum, Ratna Begum, Abdul Alim, Md. A. Kader, Engineer Tarikul Islam, along with many other organizational leaders and activists.
