A new chapter in technology-driven Islamic services began with the official launch of Khedmat App, a digital platform designed to make Islamic services more accessible, efficient, reliable, and modern.

The inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday afternoon at the Dhaka Central Convention Hall (DCC Hall) under the chairmanship of Maulana Ruhul Amin Sadi.

The event was attended by prominent Islamic scholars, religious leaders, representatives of mosques and madrasas, officials from various institutions, and invited guests from across the country.

The guests formally inaugurated the app through prayers and a special supplication (dua), followed by a digital launch marking the beginning of its operations.

Speaking at the event, the speakers said that bringing Islamic services onto a digital platform has become a necessity in today’s technology-driven world. They described Khedmat App as a timely and practical initiative that aims to meet this growing demand.

According to the speakers, the platform will integrate a wide range of services for the Islamic community, including support for mosques, madrasas, Islamic institutions, imams, muezzins, khatibs, Hifz and Nazera teachers, as well as institutional management and accounting services through a single digital platform.

They also noted that for many years there has been a lack of an effective digital solution for recruitment and employment within Islamic institutions. They expressed hope that Khedmat App would help bridge this gap by connecting qualified candidates with employment opportunities while strengthening the overall Islamic service sector.

Maulana Arif Bin Bashar, the app’s chief entrepreneur and director, said the platform has been developed to facilitate recruitment for Islamic institutions, create employment opportunities for qualified professionals, coordinate various Islamic services, and gradually introduce more features in the future.

“Our primary objective is to utilize technology for the welfare and advancement of Islamic services,” he said.

The program concluded with a special prayer seeking peace and prosperity for the country, the Muslim Ummah, and the continued success of Khedmat Ap.
