Dhaka, July 25: An Noor Academy organised its Freshers’ Reception and Graduation Ceremony in a festive atmosphere at Hotel Grand Prince Restaurant & Convention Centre in Pallabi, Mirpur, Dhaka, on Saturday. The day-long event brought together students, parents, teachers, well-wishers, and invited guests, creating a vibrant and joyful environment.
The programme was attended by Mohammad Salman, Founder of Lantabur Group and An Noor Academy, as the chief guest. The event was also attended by the academy’s principal, faculty members, students from different classes, parents, and distinguished members of society.
The formal proceedings began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a warm reception for newly admitted students with flowers and best wishes for their academic journey. Graduating students were also honoured, with speakers expressing hopes for their continued success in higher education and future careers.
One of the highlights of the event was a colourful cultural programme presented by the students. The performances included patriotic songs, poetry recitations, Islamic cultural presentations, short dramas, and other creative displays, showcasing the students’ talents. High-achieving students were also recognised for their academic excellence and outstanding performances in various competitions. Certificates and awards were presented by the chief guest, Mohammad Salman.
Addressing the gathering, Mohammad Salman emphasised that academic excellence alone is not enough in today’s world. He said students must also develop strong moral values, integrity, patriotism, and compassion to become responsible citizens.
“It is not enough to become a doctor, engineer, or pilot. Every student should first strive to become a good human being. Through moral character and humanitarian values, students can become true assets to the nation and society,” he said.
He further noted that An Noor Academy is committed to providing modern, quality education while placing equal importance on moral education, discipline, social responsibility, and human values. He expressed optimism that the institution would continue to play a significant role in nurturing competent, educated, and compassionate future generations.
