At least nine dengue patients died and 1,571 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today, with both the number of deaths and hospitalisations reaching their highest single-day levels this year.Of the deaths, three were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation areas, two each in Khulna and Dhaka divisions and one each in Barishal and Mymensingh divisions.With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 130 and cases to 45,475, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).Currently, 3,218 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
