“I live for music, and through music, I dream of touching the sky. I want to hold on to music for the rest of my life.”

These are the words of Anik Sutradhar, a popular contemporary singer who has earned a special place in the hearts of listeners through his original songs.

Anik Sutradhar was born and raised in Habirbari Union of Bhaluka Upazila, Mymensingh.

Having started learning music at the tender age of six, he regularly performed in local cultural programs and school events throughout his childhood.

Anik officially began his professional music journey in 2021 with the song “Tui Beiman”, written and composed by Alamgir Fakir. Since then, he has collaborated with many renowned lyricists and composers across the country.

Several of his tracks have gained widespread popularity among listeners, including “Maya Boro Kothin Jinis”, “Mon Jodi Duita Hoito”, “Mayar Jale”, “Chokher Jole Abeg Fele”, “Keno Puraili Amare”, “Tomar Rodela Akashe”, and “Tumi Darun Kheluar”.

To date, the emerging artist has recorded over 50 original songs, with another 25 unreleased tracks in the pipeline.

Reflecting on his journey, Anik Sutradhar shared, “It was my childhood dream to become a vocalist, and I am actively pursuing that dream today. I want to stay connected to music as long as I live and help take Bengali music to audiences worldwide.”
