As part of implementing Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s program to plant 25 crore trees over 5 years, a tree plantation initiative organized by Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Olama Dal’s Kalapara Municipal branch has been inaugurated.

The program was inaugurated at 11:00 AM on Friday on the premises of the Etemkhana Hafijia Madrasa ground in Kalapara, Patuakhali. Alhaj ABM Mosharraf Hossain, Member of Parliament for the Patuakhali-4 constituency and Training Affairs Secretary of the central BNP, attended as the chief guest.

Presided over by Municipal Olama Dal President Forkanul Islam, the event was attended by special guests including Kalapara Upazila BNP President Haji Humayun Sikdar, Municipal BNP General Secretary Musa Tauhid Nannu Munshi, Organizational Secretary Kamruzzaman Kajol Talukdar, and Upazila Jubo Dal President Harun-or-Rashid.

Among others present were Municipal Olama Dal Senior Vice President Mahmud Hasan Saiful, General Secretary Md. Hanif, Organizational Secretary Delowar Hossain, and leaders at various levels of BNP’s associate organizations.
