The “Super Sale Car Bazar,” a new marketplace aimed at bringing car buyers, sellers and financial service providers under one roof, will begin on September 4 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital.

The event will be held every Friday, with the initiative designed to open up new opportunities in Bangladesh’s automobile sector and create stronger connections between buyers and sellers.

The announcement was made at a press conference held yesterday at ICCB’s Pushpanjali Hall. The event is being organised by Wizard Showbiz, with ICCB serving as the venue partner.

The press conference was attended by Barvida Secretary General Riaz Rahman, Fair Group Head of Group Marketing Taslim Kabir, BYD Bangladesh Head of Category Development and Marketing Imtiaz Nawsher, Trust Bank PLC Vice President and Head of Retail Banking Division Md. Wahed Ibne Shahed, Chery Bangladesh Head of Sales Abu Naser Mahmud, Wizard Showbiz Chairman Md. Foyez Ullah, CEO Arifuzzaman Russell, and ICCB Chief Operating Officer M M Jasim Uddin.

Speakers said the primary objective of the “Super Sale Car Bazar” is to bring leading automobile and motorcycle brands, dealers, financial institutions and automotive service providers together on a single platform.

The marketplace will allow customers to buy and sell new, reconditioned and used cars and motorcycles while also accessing information about various automotive services and financial facilities.

According to the speakers, Bangladesh’s automobile market is expanding rapidly, creating a growing need for a regular, organised and reliable marketplace for both buyers and sellers. The “Super Sale Car Bazar” is expected to play an important role in meeting that need while strengthening communication among automobile businesses, customers and service providers.

The initiative will also give buyers an opportunity to explore and compare vehicles from different brands and models at a single location. Sellers, meanwhile, will have a direct platform to reach potential customers.

Organisers said various automobile and motorcycle brands, dealerships, financial institutions and automotive-related companies will participate in the weekly event. Privately owned new, reconditioned and used cars and motorcycles will also be available for sale at special prices.

Automobile experts and representatives of car and bike communities who attended the press conference also welcomed the initiative, describing it as a timely move in response to the growing demand and evolving needs of Bangladesh’s automobile market.
