Mahfuz Kabir Mukta, press officer of State Minister Ishraq Hossain, has received the honorary crest at the photography exhibition titled ’15 Years of Fascism and 24th Mass Uprising’. The crest was handed over to him at the National Press Club on Saturday. Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan was present as the chief guest at the discussion meeting and photography exhibition jointly organized by the Bangladesh Photojournalist Association (BPJA) and ‘Amra BNP Paribas’. The event was presided over by Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary and BNP Media Cell member Atiqur Rahman Rumon. National Press Club President Kabi Hasan Hafiz, Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists Secretary General Quader Gani Chowdhury, Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary-1 Zahidul Islam Rony, Bangladesh Photojournalist Association (BPJA) President KM Mohsin and General Secretary Babul Talukder were present as special guests.Leaders of the organizing organization, prominent photographers, media workers and people from different walks of life participated in the event.The exhibition titled ’15 Years of Fascism and the Mass Uprising of 24′ features rare photographs of various important moments of movement, torture, resistance and mass uprising.
